Sheger Microfinance S.C. is a Mass based finance institution established in accordance with the pertinent laws, regulations, and proclamations governing microfinance business in Ethiopian commercial code. It is aimed to provide need based inclusive financial service to the un-banked and missed middle by developing effective and effective service delivery system.

Sheger Microfinance Institution invites Fresh and qualified applicants for the following positions.

Position 1: Customer Service Officer I

Required Qualifications

• B.A Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Management, Agriculture, or other related field with one (1) year of experience as a Microfinance Customer service/Loan officer or two (2) years of experience as sales or Marketing, Social worker in any organization, or Agriculture Development Agent.
• Level IV (COC) in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Management, Agriculture or other related field with 2 years of direct work experience in microfinance as a customer service officer or three (3) years as sales or marketing.

Language proficiency: Fluent communication in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo language is required.

Place of work: at branches in Addis Ababa and outlet

Position 2: Accountant I

Required Qualifications

• B.A Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Business Management, Management, or Economics with 1 year of direct work experience in microfinance as an accountant, or three (3) years in any financial organization as an accountant.
• Level IV (COC) in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Management, or related with 2 years of direct work experience in microfinance as an accountant or four (4) years in any financial organization as an accountant

Number of Required= 4

Language proficiency: Fluent communication in English, Amharic, and Afaan Oromo language is required.
