Position: Technical Officer

Location: Addis Ababa

Deadline: December 3, 2023

Administer web pages and social media operations
Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and application
Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
Assess potential risks, materials and costs. Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders

Strong computer skills (particularly MS Word and Excel) and experience in use of
a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Strong analysis skills, with attention to detail and ability to deliver continuous
improvements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels within an
organisation.
High quality standards, self-motivated and pro-active with a ‘can do’ attitude
Good understanding in the importance of procedures, process and compliance.
Ability to work well individually or as part of a team.
Ability to challenge others (including those more senior), as well as coach and
train others.

Education: BSc Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering or in a related field of study
