Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts receivable for a real estate company. This position will involve processing invoices, tracking payments, and resolving billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

·         Ensuring that all interim collections are paid on time

·         Track payments and follow up with customers who are past due

·         Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes

·         Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports

·         Collaborate with other departments to ensure that customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently

·         Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices

Job Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

·         2+ years of experience in accounts receivable

·         Strong accounting skills, including AP/AR processing, reconciliation, and reporting

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
