Job Description

Accountants review and analyse financial statements, budgets, financial reports, and business plans in order to check for irregularities resulting from error or fraud, and provide their clients with financial advice in matters such as financial forecasting and risk analysis. They may audit financial data, resolve insolvency cases, prepare tax returns and provide other tax-related advice in reference to current legislation.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Understanding of data privacy standards
• Solid communication skills, English both written and verbal
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Willing to work under pressure and can meet tight deadlines
• Proficient user of finance software/Peachtree
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.

Job Requirements

• BA degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance or related field of studies

Experience:

• Minimum 0-2 years of related experience
• Experience in the IT Service Company Environment has an advantage
