Technical Skills and Other Requirement

• Relevant experience in good project management skills to carry out audit activities and meet deadlines
• Technical proposal and/or terms of reference including remuneration fee   

Experience

• Demonstrable technical ability, critical thinking for reviewing audit evidence and making sound judgements
• Authorized under the list of Registered Audit Firm – Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia
• Evidence of relevant work experience with NGOs
• Valid business license, VAT certificate and TIN

Job Description

EPHLA is a non-for profit and non-governmental organization that strives to promote quality health laboratory standards through capacity building. One of the key components in achieving its objectives is to get its resources audited periodically and therefore it seeks to recruit and engage external auditor as per the following specifications:

Job Summary

Examine financial records, accounts and other relevant data in the organization (EPHLA). Analyze financial reporting and operational risks. Prepare final audit report which must include recommendations for system adjustment and process changes if needed. Inform the Executive Board of EPHLA and its General Assembly.

Duties and Responsibility

• Conduct independent assessment of financial statements and disclosures and ensure that they conform to national and international standards and are free from errors, fraudulent activities

Reports To: The Executive Board & the General Assembly

Duty station: Addis Ababa

Duration: For up to three years
