Introduction

The bank obtained its license from the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) on June 25, 2009 in accordance with Licensing & Supervision of Banking Business Proclamation No. 592/2008 and the 1960’s Commercial Code of Ethiopia.

Position 1: Branch Manager-I for Worabie Duna Branch

Job Description

  • Plans organize, directs, and controls, through subordinate supervisors, the banking activities of the assigned branch.
  • Prepares and submits for annual approval budget and annual work plans and implements same upon approval.
  • Ensures that established operating policies and procedures are carried out with respect to acceptance of deposits, making of loans, providing safekeeping facilities, and receiving and paying out of cash

Job Requirements

  • Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking and Finance /Management/Economics or other related fields.
  • Experience: 6 years of Banking experience of which 2 Years at the supervisory level.

Position 2: Customer Service Officer-I  for Worabie Duna Branch

Job Description

  • Makes the necessary care when disclosing balances or issuing documents.
  • Checks and counter signs tickets and negotiable instruments.
  • Handles international money transfers like a Western Union.
  • Ensures that accounts are opened properly, and the necessary details are put into the system properly.

Job Requirements

  • Qualification: BA Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking and Finance /Management/Economics or other related fields.
  • Experience: 1 year of Experience in Banking operation as a Customer Service Officer.
